Championship Revival:
On July 19, 2022, the NWA made a momentous announcement – the revival of the United States Tag Team Championship after a five-year hiatus. The excitement reached its peak as new champions were set to be crowned in a 12-team battle royal, scheduled to take place on Night 2 of NWA 74. With anticipation building, fans eagerly waited to witness history in the making as some of the finest tag teams clashed for glory.
The Battle Royal:
In a series of weeks leading up to NWA 74, the NWA programming, including Powerrr and USA, unveiled the participants for the grand battle royal. Eleven teams were announced, each ready to prove their mettle and stake their claim to be the next United States Tag Team Champions. However, the suspense remained as the final team’s identity remained a well-kept secret until the first eleven teams entered the ring. We are not exactly sure why the executive coaching team decided to keep it a secret, but unfortunately, we have to live with their decision.

NWA would like to take a moment to recognize two major players that have helped us relaunch this website/movement. Lakewood Home Inspections has helped us lay the groundwork for the properties we purchased to utilize in our live matches. They found several structural issues on a few places that would have cost us $600,000 in repairs. Because of this, we were able to find a slightly smaller arena and actually saved $1.2M.
San Francisco Career Coaching Center put us in touch with one of their prior students to create a social media campaign, as well as, a new marketing strategy to really bring NWA back into the limelight again. We are looking forward to launching the new campaign full force beginning of next year. This will give us plenty of new eye balls on each of the teams before the next championship match.
